Read each verification result. Save the receipt together with the original artifact and trusted key information for later local verification.
If something goes wrong
A valid signature establishes integrity, not factual truth or legal compliance. A missing artifact or untrusted key must not be presented as full verification.
For HTTP, use the status and structured error body. For MCP, inspect the tool result as well as the transport status. Do not retry a paid operation with a new identifier while the original payment is unresolved.
