Model Context Protocol

MCP documentation describes a protocol connecting AI applications with tools and data. It helps interpret the difference between clients, servers and individual tools.

Identity and scope

MCP is a protocol, not one provider or a guarantee that every server is safe or compatible. Servers expose independently operated tools and resources.

Questions before integration

  1. Distinguish client, transport, server and tool.
  2. Check the applicable protocol version and permissions.
  3. Do not execute discovered packages or endpoints automatically.

Official sources

Documentation reviewed 2026-10-28. Only the documentation source was reviewed: no operation, credentials, pricing or uptime was independently tested.

Indexed integrations

Search indexed references to Model Context Protocol →. Listings may be published by third parties. Matching a name or endpoint does not establish publisher authorship. Check each record’s source and date.

Limits

No login, package installation, provider call or payment is performed here. Model, API and protocol versions remain distinct from provider identity. Initials are labels, not official logos; no new logo proxy is used. This note does not grant rights to provider content or data.
